Corrections Minister Kelvin Davis told this week's Criminal Justice Summit Maori must lead the change in the criminal justice system. Maori make up 16 percent of the overall population, but are 51 percent of prisoners. For women that increases to two-thirds of prisoners. Anzac Wallace has been an actor in films including Utu. He once did time inside, and now works for Manukau Urban Maori Authority. He was a harsh crtitic at the justice summit. Laura O'Connell Rapira is the Director of Action Station and was also at the summit. They talk to Guyon Espiner.
