Burger King ruling shows wage theft problem - union

The Unite union is hailing a ruling against Burger King, saying it highlights a big wage theft problem. The fast food chain has been banned by the Employment Relations Authority from hiring foreign workers for a year after being found to have paid a worker less than the minimum wage. But the union is concerned the jobs of some foreign workers at Burger King are now at risk. Unite national secretary is Gerard Hehir. He talks to Susie Ferguson.
