Tim Lovegrove's bird calls helping Auckland conservation

From Morning Report, 8:56 am on 17 September 2018

Tim Lovegrove could give Morning Report's birds a run for their money after a lifetime speaking to many of our native species. The Auckland Council fauna advisor is being celebrated as an environmental hero by the council for his work trying to preserve the region's bird life. He's been in the Tawharanui sanctuary, north of the city, using his many and varied bird calls to find and count native species. Matthew Theunissen joined Dr Lovegrove in his natural habitat.
