Bridges apologises for calling Maureen Pugh 'useless'

National's leader has apologised profusely for saying one of his own MPs is 'effing' useless and insists his leadership is safe and that his caucus is united behind him. Simon Bridges was recorded making the comments by Jami-Lee Ross in a phone conversation between the two where they were discussing a $100,000 donation to the party.
