Police seek vehicle after fatal hit and run in Oamaru

Tragedy struck Oamaru last night after a 14-year-old girl was killed after she was hit by a car. The incident happened at around 10.40 last night on Severn Street. The vehicle that hit her did not stop, and the police are wanting to speak to anyone who saw a dark coloured older sedan that was seen travelling at speed. Waitaki District Council mayor Gary Kircher discusses the incident with Guyon Espiner.
