UK cabinet in crisis talks over Brexit deal

From Morning Report, 7:28 am on 15 November 2018

In Britain, Cabinet Ministers have been locked in crisis talks for hours debating whether to accept the latest plan for leaving the European Union. Prime Minister Theresa May is supporting the plan - but it's unclear whether all of the Cabinet agrees - or even if a majority of the Cabinet back her. She had been expected to hold a news conference two hours ago - but that's been cancelled and she's now likely to make a brief statement at Downing Street soon. Earlier Mrs May spoke to MPs at the House of Commons - she said the deal was the best way forward. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called it a choice between a no deal or a botched deal in the House.
