NZ marine apprenticeship named best in world
A New Zealand marine apprenticeship scheme has been named the best in the world. The NZ Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation won the award in Amsterdam last week. There have been more than 2000 graduates from their programme many of them are now running boat-building and marine service companies around the world. Peter Busfield is the executive director of the New Zealand Marine Industry Association and is back from Amsterdam, where he collected the award. He talks to Guyon Espiner.
