Theresa May confident as Brexit deal faces parliament vote

From Morning Report, 6:17 am on 4 December 2018

The Brexit deal is going to a Parliamentary vote next week and UK Prime Minister Theresa May says she's confident she'll still have her job. If it's rejected it would leave the UK facing a messy, economically damaging "no-deal" Brexit on March 29. Ms May spoke in Parliament earlier this morning, saying she's spoken to many leaders about trade deals at the G20 summit, and that leaders know Britain is open for business. Rumours are swirling that Ms May would have to resign or face a vote of no confidence if her deal failed. Our correspondent in London is Natalie Powell. She talks to Susie Ferguson.
