Weather: Warning to stay inside as NZ heats up
People are being urged to take extra care this week as temperatures are set to soar - in some cases above thirty degrees. The east coasts of the North and South island are expected to swelter in heat up to six degrees higher than average. It's Principal Rural Fire Officer, Thomas Harre talked to RNZ reporter Katie Doyle about what people shouldn't do in times of extreme heat.
