Insight: Police point to growing violence by young

From Morning Report, 8:20 am on 7 February 2019

Police in Hawke's Bay fear there are a growing number of young people who have no empathy and just don't care how badly they hurt others. In little more than a year, four teenagers from Hastings murdered three people in unusually violent attacks. The latest was carried out by 15-year-old Haami Hanara who was this week jailed for life with a minimum non-parole period of 10 years. Anneke Smith visited Flaxmere to find out why teenagers have been involved in killing. Listen to the full report on Insight, Sunday morning on RNZ after 8am.
