NZ may lose out if govt taxes Facebook, Google - National

Fears are being raised that a proposed tax on online companies could backfire and leave New Zealand consumers out in the cold. The Government is preparing to introduce a new tax on multi-national firms making money from customers in this country which is tax-free. But some commentators are warning this could spark retalitory action which could not only limit consumer choice but also have wider trade implications. RNZ deputy political editor Chris Bramwell has the story.
