Three UK Conservative MPs defect for new independent party

There's more turmoil in British politics with three Tory MPs defecting overnight. Anna Soubry, Sarah Wollaston and Heidi Allen all resigned from the Conservative Party to join eight Labour rebels in the new Independent Party. Ms Allen gave her reasons for leaving at a press conference a few hours ago. Another Labour Party MP has also resigned, joining the new party. WIth more details is Patrick Wintour from the Guardian.
