Māori seek fair treatment under a capital gains tax

Māori interests don't want special treatment under a proposed capital gains tax, but they do want fair treatment. The Tax Working Group has suggested in the interests of equity, possible exemptions or deferrals for Māori organisations should be explored. But Auckland University academic Dr Mānuka Henare, who is an Associate Professor of Māori Business Development, say that's not necessary. He speaks to Guyon Espiner.
