IAG insurance pulls out of quake-prone Wellington

Earthquake Recovery Minister Megan Woods says the biggest player in the insurance market is walking away from insuring houses in Wellington. It emerged this week that IAG, the parent company of insurance brands State, AMI and NZI, has pulled back on offering home contents insurance to new customers. On Tuesday, it told government officials it also wants to stop insuring homes. Dr Woods speaks to Susie Ferguson.
