US wants permanent moon base in five years

The United States plans to put a man and woman on the moon in the next five years - and establish a permanent base there. Vice President Mike Pence made the announcement at the Space and Rocket Center in Alabama. Robert Pearlman is a space historian and editor of Collect Space and has been following the story.
