Greenlane hospital fails firestopping standards
Greenlane is the latest hospital to fall foul of firestopping standards designed to slow down the spread of flames and smoke. It is not up to scratch. But unlike nearby Starship children's hospital, where more than a thousand holes and gaps have been fixed, Greenlane is lower down the Auckland DHB's to-do list. It says the risks are very low - however, documents show the problems are extensive. Phil Pennington reports.
