Maori Party split now a gaping chasm

The split between the Maori Party MP, Hone Harawira, and his caucus colleagues has widened further. Mr Harawira angered the party leadership by delivering a state of the nation speech at Waitangi on Saturday night only an hour before the party's co-leader, Pita Sharples was due to deliver his own.
