North Korea agrees to suspend nuclear programme for aid

North Korea, under the stewardship of Kim Jong-Il's son Kim Jong-Un, has agreed to halt the enrichment of uranium at its main nuclear facility and to stop testing its long-range missiles, in return for tens of millions of dollars worth of food aid from the United States.
