12.11 pm We're wrapping up the past decade - this week recalling the NZ hits and misses from 2006 and 2007.
12.30 pm Parihaka International Peace Festival 2010
Set underneath the majestic and oh-so-perfectly conical Mount Taranaki on the site where Maori visionaries Te Whiti and Tohu staged revolutionary peaceful protests against confiscation of indigenous land, Parihaka International Peace Festival can't help but be a little bit magic. The line-up helps too - Fat Freddy's Drop, Tiki Taane, Ladi 6, a rare appearance by Herbs and the first major public appearance of The Bellbirds featuring Don McGlashan, Sean Donnelly (SJD), Sandy Mill and Victoria Kelly, plus the opportunity for the young to perform beside King Kapisi and Teremoana Rapley after a teenagers' performance workshop. Music 101 reporter Melody Thomas isn't planning on getting a lot of sleep during this one.

Relive some of the sounds of yesterday's Big Day Out in Auckland.

3.04 pm Live: Lydia Cole
Honest, hopeful, deceptively simple girl-and-guitar folk songs are the flavour here… Lydia Cole is a singer-songwriter on the rise. Only just into her twenties, she's already won the support of Neil Finn, who hosted the recording of her E.P. 'Love Will Find A Way' at his Roundhead studios, playing Wurlitzer on some tracks.
Hailing from the North Shore of Auckland, Lydia Cole has already played a host of live shows in New Zealand and Australia, including Rhythm and Vines, Parachute, last year's Winery Tour and the recent Acoustic Church tour with Boh Runga, Greg Johnson and Nathan King.
For this performance recorded in June 2009 by Radio New Zealand live at The Classic in Auckland, Lydia's live band is 'Love Will Find A Way' producer Nic Manders on keyboards, Jol Mulholland on guitar (Gasoline Cowboy and the Mots), Chip Matthews on bass (Anika Moa, Opensouls and others) and drummer Nick Gaffaney (Goldenhorse, Cairo Knife Fight and others)
3.30pm We speak to Neko Case, American singer-songwriter who is playing NZ this week.
4.05 pm Mix Tape: Coco Solid
Celebrity musical guests are invited in to spin their choicest cuts - this week sassy wordsmith Coco Solid, aka Jessica Hansell (pictured below, photo by Tom Neal) plays us some of her favourites.
