Nick D travels to the capital Accra, and learns that through the ups and downs of Ghana's history their own music has always played the most vital role in lifting the people's spirits.

Both films revolve around the highly regarded 1972 album 'Exile on Main Street', which was recorded in somewhat chaotic circumstances in the basement of a French villa while the band avoided the UK taxman.
