Head Like A Hole
Wellington rockers Head Like A Hole have a new album Blood Will Out and a new lease on life - which is just as well because the old lease ran out and they got evicted. Undaunted, Booga, Datehole, Tallbeast et al are back from the wilderness and on the road again - (indisputably) older, (possibly) wiser and (arguably) rocking harder than ever. Listen to the interview with Head Like A Hole here

Handsome Furs

Muzai Records
Boutique label Muzai Records set up shop in the middle of the recession in 2009, battling the financial odds to provide a home for a new school of noise makers like Bandicoot, Sherpa, god bows to math and Cat Venom. Two years later, and the small, perfectly-formed label is releasing a prodigious number of albums, vinyl releases and limited-edition singles, and scouting for more youthful talent to add to its impressive roster. Sam Wicks attends the birthday celebrations for this brave little indie.
