In the '90s you could catch a young Aaron Nevezie wailing away on his jazz guitar in all the notable clubs and bars dotted along High Street in Auckland, but it wasn't long before the bright lights of New York lured him away. Now a studio owner, engineer and producer, he's worked with the likes of Dangermouse, The Black Keys, and our own Tama Waipara.

The Secret Life Of The Orchestra: Brass
In this programme, one of a four part series on the different parts of the orchestra, Karl Steven explores the secret world of the brass family and talks to some of New Zealand's shiniest brass players about their instruments. Join us as we delve into the history of trumpets, trombones, horns, and tubas and their kin, explore Tutankhamun's burial chamber, and learn about musical military signals, as well as listening to a truckload of brazen and beautiful brassy music.
