During the 1960's, Martin Winch toured with various pop and jazz units, returning to New Zealand in the early 70's to join Salty Dogg and later, the progressive jazz-rock band, Dr Tree. After recording and playing with some of the great names in jazz, he supported numerous artists on tour and in the studio and recorded the platinum selling 'Espresso Guitar' series.
