Whirimako Black has been a busy wahine for the past few years- she's played in Athens, been invited to the BBC for recording sessions, appeared on international compilations and worked on film soundtracks. Her latest release, Kura Huna, (Hidden Treasures) was produced by an American composer and oboe player Russel Walder, who came to live in NZ with his wife ten years ago.
