Musical Chairs - The Punk Gnome Project (Part Two)

In Musical Chairs, we return to the New Zealand punk gene pool for Part Two of The Punk Genome Project and look at a new generation of New Zealand noise makers. Kicking off with the inward-looking sounds of Bailter Space and HDU, we follow the spores of their music into bands like So So Modern and The Mint Chicks who have flourished on the margins of popular music here while rightfully gaining recognition elsewhere.
