VIDEO PREMIERE: 'Personfriend' by Bored Housewives Club

From RNZ Music, 10:00 am on 24 January 2019

RNZ Music is excited to premiere the new video from Wellington duo Bored Housewives Club, ‘Personfriend’.

To celebrate the release of their new music video, Bored Housewives Club are playing at Wellington’s San Fran tonight, Thursday, January 24.

Bored Housewives Club are best friends from Wellington, Aaron Pyke (guitar, vocals) and Alayne Dick (drums, vocals). ‘Personfriend’ is from their EP Iti, which was released in October.

‘Personfriend’ is a song about modern romance and ‘not being able to tell your crush that you like them’.

The video was shot by filmmaker and friend of the band, Martin Sagadin who’s shot music videos for a bunch of New Zealand musicians including Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Pickle Darling and Motte.

The ‘Personfriend’ video features Wilson, a handsome cat who lives with Alayne but is sadly not hers. Alayne would like to thank her flatmate Etta for letting the band borrow him.
