Tiny Ruins is the name that British-born, West Auckland resident Hollie Fullbrook has chosen to record under. Hollie moved to New Zealand with her family when she was 10 years old. But even then she was creating her own music. Tiny Ruins debut album 'Some Were Meant For Sea' is full of sparse, desolate songs that will have some listeners reaching for comparisons to the likes of Jolie Holland and Cat Power. Marty Duda spoke to Hollie in Radio New Zealand's Auckland studios where she also performed the song 'Old As The Hills' live.
