The Lonesome Buckwhips

Dead Period: Part 2 of 4

We continue with the iconic Kiwi family band, The Lonesome Buckwhips, as they enter what was to become known as their "dead period".

In this, the second of four parts, presenter Justin Gregory uses documentary recordings, interviews and commentary to examine the months between the accidental sinking of the ferry Arahura and Gary Buckwhips' arrest and interrogation as an accessory to poaching.

And for those who missed the first part of this series you can now catch it online on the Radio New Zealand website under drama.
