This week, The Derek Trucks Band give an amazing encore performance of a set recorded at the New Daisy Theater in Memphis in 2009. Derek Trucks rates as one of the best living blues/rock guitarists, so much so he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone for an article called 'The New Guitar Gods'. He's one of those special players who doesn't just play the notes, he puts his whole being into his music and the result is fluid and full of life. His band is a perfect complement to this, all masters of their craft.
