Tonight, from Mali, a man blessed with a golden voice, Salif Keita performed a delightful set that exuded warmth, dignity and virtuosity despite an upbringing that has been challenged by adversity. Also in this programme is Jimmy Cliff, one of the true originals of Jamaican reggae. Definitely one of the top billing artists to appear at Womad 2013, Jimmy Cliff put on a true 'show', performing many hits from his five-decade career... and he is still going strong.
