Before our own times, there were three great revolutions in scientific thought: the Copernican Revolution (c 1550 - 1650), the Chemical Revolution (c. 1750 - 1800), and the Darwinian Revolution (c. 1850 - 1900); with philosopher Prof. Alan Musgrave from the University of Otago... his dad said "you care for nothing but shooting, dogs, and rat-catching, and you will be a disgrace to yourself and all your family"... the life of Charles Darwin.
