09:05 Education Ministry have no idea of number of school truants
New Education Minister has directed officials to assess how many truants there are - as the Ministry admits it has no idea how bad the figures are.
Anne Tolley, Education Minister; John Hancock from Youth Law; and Luke Mealamu, Social Worker at Aorere College, a large school in Mangere, Auckland, where he used to be their Truancy Officer, he is also an ex pupil who truanted frequently.
09:20 Fear Factor of cycling
The "fear factor" is keeping would-be cyclists off the roads in New Zealand. Dr Ben Wooliscroft says driver aggression is the main factor given by people for NOT cycling and he's calling on transport agencies to both improve driver education - and to enforce road rules designed to protect cyclists.
