09:05 Fate of the activists seized by Israel in the Gaza-bound aid flotilla
Irris Makler, Middle East correspondent. Israel has announced that it will immediately deport all 680 pro-Palestinian activists, including New Zealander Nicola Enchmarch, it seized in a bloody raid. Activists on the six ships in the aid convoy were initially taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod, before they were moved to the southern town of Beersheva.
