Bob Harvey represents the Aquatic Education New Zealand Trust, which is developing the pools to schools initiative; and Matt Claridge is the general manager of Water Safety NZ.

A new initiative in Auckland is aiming to reduce the number of drownings by sending pools into schools which don't have access to one, so pupils can be taught water safety skills. Meanwhile, drowning rates for January/February this year are up by 46% - does Water Safety NZ think this initiative will help turn those worrying statistics around?
