English singer-songwriter Beth Orton got her start in the early 1990s working with William Orbit and The Chemical Brothers before releasing her debut album, Trailer Park, in 1996. Orton combined elements of folk and electronica producing one of the most distinctive debuts of that era. Since then she has focussed more on the folky side. Her new album, The Sugaring Season, has just been released and his her first after a six-year layoff.
