Toni Burnside is the Principal of Central New Brighton school in Christchurch (decile 2) - her school is to merge with South Brighton school (decile 5) by January 2014. Central New Brighton School  has just under 100 pupils Year 1 to Year 8; and Tony Simpson,  Principal of Phillipstown school.

Alicia Bunge-Krueger,  Parent of two students at Phillipstown School which is to close at the end of this year.
