Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to enter the Boston Marathon back in the 1960s – she was reporting on the race for an American TV channel when the explosions occurred; and Roger Robinson, husband of Kathrine Switzer – he was reporting on the race and is in lock down at his hotel very close to the scene of the explosion.
