It's half a century since American long-distance runner Kathrine Switzer first competed in the Boston Marathon, changing running for women forever.  At the age of 70, she's preparing to mark that anniversary by running it again.  This time she'll be joined by mainly female runners from countries around the world, in a continued effort to empower women, this time by raising funds for non-competitive running communities.

Australian artist and filmmaker Lynette Wallworth on exploring the power of storytelling in virtual reality. Foreign Policy magazine has named her as one of 2016's "100 Leading Global Thinkers." Her latest work Collisions is a VR journey to remote Australian desert - and tells of an indigenous elder's first contact with western culture. Lynette will be in New Zealand later this week, presenting at Te Papa and AUT.
