Kiribati calls off aerial search for sunken ferry passengers

The Kiribati government has asked for the search for survivors of the Kiribati ferry disaster to be abandoned. Upwards of 80 people are missing and feared dead, including 23 children. The Kiribati government is also promising a full inquiry. The seven survivors who have been rescued are expected to arrive in the capital on Saturday.
