The government's electronic spy agency has rejected Spark's bid to use technology provided by the Chinese tech giant Huawei for the new 5G cellphone network.
Spark has promised to roll-out the network by 2020 with Huawei as its technology partner. So if the Spark / Huawei partnership is to continue, it must convince GCSB it can mitigate the risks identified.
