The effect of early childcare centres on youngsters

From Nine To Noon, 9:35 am on 8 August 2012

Linda Harrison is an associate professor of early childhood education at Charles Sturt University who has researched the effect of childcare centres on youngsters. It indicates that among two- and three-year-olds in childcare centres, no differences in behaviour or adjustment were apparent between the children who had started formal care as babies and those who had started later after having been at home with a parent or other carer.
