Finishing work in Canterbury construction dries up

Building and decorating firms in Christchurch say work has suddenly and significantly dried up and they want to know why. Joining the panel discussion are: Lester Bryant who runs a Canterbury quantity surveying business, and who set up the group Cantrades - a lobby group of tradesmen and industry organisations in Christchurch; Paul O'Donnell - the managing director of the Canterbury decorating company 0800 We Paint, and; Reid Stiven, manager of the Canterbury Home Repair Programme for EQC.
