Emma Donoghue is an award-winning Irish-born writer and literary historian who now lives in Canada. She has a diverse body of work as a novelist, a short story writer and a writer for stage and screen. Her novel Room was an international bestseller and Booker Prize finalist. Emma Donoghue's latest book is the novel Frog Music, which is an historical novel inspired by a murder near San Francisco in 1896 during a smallpox epidemic.
