Taking their name from the (now closed) Ocean Beach Freezing Works in Bluff, Ocean Beach play what they describe as "crunchy punk folk with shimmering resonance".

The Auckland three-piece (Gary Dalhousie, Robbie Halcrow and Troy Stanton-Kerr) are influenced by reggae, ska and alternative rock.
Among their awards is the coveted 'Best Saturday Jam Session in West Glenfield Between 2 and 4' they picked up in 2015.
