Health and disability services haven't been getting a good press lately. What with growing hospital waiting lists and the deaths or injuries of those 'in care' making the headlines, it's no wonder people are starting to question what's going wrong. According to hospital specialist Doctor Robin Youngeson, it's a case of the system losing its heart. He says he wants to put compassion and kindness back into the picture. And he's not alone. Doctor Robin Youngeson says he's one of six other trustees, who've put together the Compassion in Health care Trust. They're arguing for a change to the Code of Health and Disability rights, which would see the word 'compassion' get added to the clause that says people have the right to be treated with respect.
