Julian Fellowes is a British television producer, best known for the series Downton Abbey, and new production, Doctor Thorne. His latest project, Julian Fellowes’s Belgravia, is a story in eleven episodes. The first episode is available free from www.julianfellowesbelgravia.com, alongside video, music, maps, historical information, and family trees, with subsequent episodes available for purchase in weekly instalments, in written and audiobook form, before the collection is published in traditional book form.

Gary Small is a professor of psychiatry and director of the UCLA Longevity Center at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, and has been named by Scientific American magazine as one of the world’s leading innovators in science and technology. He has written six books, including international 2003 bestseller, The Memory Bible.

Jim looks back at Chernobyl, and the 1987 song Soviet Snow, then talks to singer and songwriter Shona Laing, who won the APRA Silver Scroll for that song. She has recorded nine albums, most recently Pass the Whisper in 2007, and continues to perform as a solo act, and with her contemporaries.
