From Standing Room Only, 12:45 pm on 8 April 2018

It's an anxious waiting game now for the Auckland Art Gallery while the City Council decides its budget and how much money it's prepared to invest in it. This follows months of heated debate, impassioned submissions, news stories and fundraising ventures by the Gallery, which at one stage faced having to close for a day a week. Gallery Director Rhana Devenport tells Lynn Freeman that right now the Auckland Art Gallery is in limbo.
