Curator Ben James is working on the exhibition called Burning Up Years: Aotearoa Music History at the Wellington Museum.
It’s a collaboration with Audio Culture showcasing the Wellington music scene from 1960 to 1978.
There will be rare vinyl, posters, album art, NZ made music equipment and music videos - as well as a series of concerts.
One such show will feature 1960s and 70s kiwi rock guitar legend Billy TK who is re-uniting with his band from that time - The Powerhouse.
