The Doubtful Sounds in session

From Summer Times, 11:45 am on 18 January 2019

The Doubtful Sounds are a Wellington choir that specialise in acapella arrangements of popular songs – conducted by RNZ Nights presenter Bryan Crump and featuring fellow RNZers Alison Ballance and Emile Donovan.

For the final Summer Times show, Bryan and the choir descended on our Wellington studio to perform three songs with the Strung Out string quartet.

The Doubtful Sounds & Strung Out performed:

'I Can See Clearly Now' by Johnny Nash (1972)

'The Ship Song' by Nick Cave (1990)

'I Feel Love' by Donna Summer (1977)
