Education Panel discussion. For the last week of the show we're spending time every morning looking at some of the issues that affect us all. This morning we're beginning with education, talking about our schools, our teachers and the various factors that influence what sort of an education children here receive, depending on their circumstances and where they are in NZ, and what that means for their chances later in life. Gregor Fountain is in Wellington, Principal of Paraparaumu College, a state co-ed school of about 1150 students about an hour North of Wellington, and also a father of three boys age six and twins of age four! Stuart Middleton, Director of External Relations at the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), an education expert, he's taught teachers and worked as a consultant across the Pacific and advised on policy in the UK.
